We asked Mr. Shiraishi, who is in charge of the planning of the TEMBEA brand and the design/illustration of printed patterns at TORSO Co., Ltd., about his favorite paper products.
It is a " leaf pattern letter set purchased from MCMANUS & MORGAN FINE ART PAPER."

``The other day, I went to LA for my first overseas trip in a while, and while I was there, I stopped by ``MCMANUS & MORGAN FINE ART PAPER,'' a shop run by an old man who is a paper geek, and which was recommended to me by a friend. This is a letter set.I usually think about patterns on fabrics, so paper and cloth items with patterns naturally catch my eye, but the store owner, an old man, created a pattern by pressing leaves against each other. He carefully explained to me that the paper was made with 100% natural dyes, and I was impressed by how natural dyes could leave such a beautiful green color.The shapes of the leaves were beautiful, and each one was different. The layout is now in the realm of art. It's a waste and I don't think I'll be able to use it (lol), so I'd like to display it in my room and enjoy it for a while."

Many Japanese papers have leaves such as autumn leaves printed on them, and the expression ``copy'' is very interesting. It looks like a print, and the color transfer is unique, as if it slightly picks up the unevenness of nature! Thank you for letting us know about your valuable paper products!
