Designer Takaaki Ueda's favorite paper products

Mr. Ueda is currently designing public spaces, drawing on his experience as a product designer.
We design public spaces that serve as a receptacle for the people who use them, by going back and forth between the design and the space that exists there, together with the government and citizens, and considering the optimal shape for the space.
We asked Mr. Ueda about the paper products he is partial to.

It's called "okina's project waterproof memo."
``The most ideas come to me when I take a shower, and Yupo paper doesn't tear even if it gets wet, and it holds a pencil well, so it's perfect for people who like to write down their ideas naked.''
I also checked with a distributor of water-resistant memos, and they were very interested in how they can be used by enthusiasts.
This memo has a function that can be used in the event of a disaster or sudden bad weather when climbing, but it is certainly understandable that you want to write down ideas that suddenly come to you right away.
You'll likely come up with good ideas if you let your thoughts drift in a certain rhythm, such as when you're walking or running. This will not only remove notes but also sweat.

Now, Mr. Ueda, who told me about his unbalanced attachment to Taisei Shiki Seisakusho's products, that he is "interested in and would like to try" is...
It says "PAD NOTE" !
"I like that it has multiple paper formats in one book."
about it. PAD NOTE is made by binding two folded papers together. Furthermore, you can easily peel off the folded paper just like a memo pad.
The peeled paper is folded in half, so when opened it becomes a large sheet of paper the size of a notebook spread. In other words, this is an epoch-making product that allows A4 paper to be created from an A5 notebook!
I sent it right away
"It was very comfortable to use. It seems to be in high demand especially among architects. I think it would also be good for people studying to become architects who draw diagrams on the train."
In fact, PAD NOTE is a notebook that received ideas for product development from the opinions of architects. It was a great answer from Mr. Ueda, who always collaborates with architects!
